A-O/ALTRUISMO!! Hello Providence Elementary family! I am beyond excited to continue the next chapter of my teaching career at PES. My name is Josh Underwood and I will be teaching 2nd grade. I am entering my 14th year overall in education and I have taught classrooms from Pre-K to 5th. I am originally from Rome, GA and graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2010 and again in 2016 with my Master’s Degree. My wife, Michaela, is a First Grade Teacher here at Providence. We live in Winston, GA with our daughter, Maci Rae, and sons River and Micah. Maci Rae is a Pre-K student this year at Providence as well. I am a railroad enthusiast, camper, and Ross Chastain NASCAR fanatic. I also referee GHSA football games on Friday nights and collegiate games on Saturdays. I can’t wait to meet all the students and families of Providence Elementary.
