Hello Providence Elementary family! I am beyond excited to continue the next chapter of my teaching career at PES. My name is Josh Underwood and I will be teaching 2nd grade at PES. I am entering my 13th year overall in education and I have taught classrooms from Pre-K to 5th. I am originally from Rome, GA and graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2010 and again in 2016 with my Master’s Degree. My wife, Michaela, is a Kindergarten Teacher at Villa Rica Elementary. We live in Winston, GA with our daughter, Maci Rae, and son River. I am a railroad enthusiast, camper, and Kevin Harvick NASCAR fanatic. I also referee GHSA football games on Friday nights and collegiate games on Saturdays. I can’t wait to meet all the students and families of Providence Elementary.
